HISTORY  

The Master’s Degree in Health  and  Environment started in 1999  and  was recognized by the Decree no. 3,841, DOE/SC, of January 7, 2002,  and  by the Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Ordinance no. 1,585, of June 20, 2003, being renovated by the MEC through the Ordinance no. 609, of March 14, 2019. In August 2013, the program obtained the recommendation by the Coordination of Superior Level Staff Improvement (CAPES) to offer the first class of the Doctorate Degree. Currently, the course is on its 20th class. 

OBJECTIVE 

The Post-Graduation Program in Health  and  Environment of UNIVILLE (PPGSMA) aims to qualify, in an interdisciplinary perspective, able human resources in the field of health  and  environment that can contribute to the generation of knowledge  and  the formulation of public  and  private policies towards the management  and  conservation of the environment, likewise the development  and  promotion of actions to health improvement, to environmental quality,  and  to regional development.

Curriculum (Master’s Degree)

With minimum duration of 18 months  and  maximum of 24 months, the curriculum is distributed in mandatory subjects (15 credits), elective subjects (9 credits) and  the dissertation writing.

 

Class hours

Thursdays  and  Fridays, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
